Schneider Electric MSEC

I4C were awarded the project in December 2012 . We were briefed on the project in January 2013 and project competition was May 2014.

Schneider Electric MSEC had a requirement to combine 2 different business units and hence the move from three different locations. Some Head Office functions were incorporated into the new offices.

Biggest challenge was the building that Schneider Electric MSEC selected being a 2 year old industrial / office building that had been very poorly maintained.

The building was gutted back to the shell, redesigned and rebuilt to accommodate the Schneider requirements including all services.

The new building was to accommodate the showroom and training center and this was to be the new flag ship office space in Southern Africa.

Interior was to reflect the Schneider Electric MSEC image and to be and exciting space for clients, suppliers and staff alike.

Time was a huge factor as the site team had to be on site by February thus allowing only a few weeks for the design and décor process.

Construction took 4 months for the 4371m2 as well as external work and some work in the factory.

The Schneider Electric MSEC leadership team were very involved in the project and allowing i4c to be able to produce a world-class facility in a very short space of time. Thank you Paul and Franco!
